Lake McKellar from the route to Point 1543.
On the other side of the lake, McKellar Saddle, the high point of the Caples Track, is clear to see. Today would be a fine day to cross that pass - but it's even better to go to Point 1543, which is where I'm heading.
The coordinates entered are those of the lake.
