And it does look very nice now!
Thanks a million. I loved Norway, it's a bit like a little Canada/Alaska. No doubt the weather's better in France/Spain though!
Cheers - Jacek
...........I would love to hike this area.
I'd recommend this link, talking of Norway. However, it might be more convenient for you to get to Canada/Alaska :)
Anyway, good luck!
Nice moody shot, is that a storm coming in?
Very near the Shetland Isles:-); nay, no big thunderstorm, must’ve been one of the many summer showers.
Yea, it's probably nearer the Shetlands than I am. Which remindes me... the Shetlands is somwhere else I'd like to go...
Are you done with the Isle of Skye?
Nope, never been to Skye either, but would very much like to. At some point I'd like to do a bit of a tour of the Western Isles and Outer Hebridies, and in pparticular St Kilda. I think its going to be a matter of persuading my girlfriend that she wants to go too :)
To feel the gabbro of the Cuillin is just a must; St Kilda for what most people go or to climb the stacs as well? Well Dan, if the negotiations come to a stalemate, the cliffs and crags of Greece or Montenegro ain't that bad either:)
Funnily enough we're heading to Croatia in May. We're going to be staying in the Dubrovnik area, so we'll definately be heading into Montenegro for a day or two. Don't think we'll be doing any climbing, but should get a fair bit of hiking in. Then again I might take my rock shoes along anyway, just in case I feel like a bit of impromptu soloing while we're there.
