I worked at Grand Canyon NP for
9 1/2-months, and I've never talked
to any person who did these rapids.
That was back in 1991; guess things
have changed since then.

I did get some exercise on this trip. Since I am the non-rower of the bunch I would row the dead water. ;p Did you row or go on a guided trip. Where did you work at the Grand Canyon?

I will never forget Deubendorff! I almost went swimming! BRRRRRR!!! That water is so cold that when I watched my hair my head froze! We did the trip this last March.

I hiked out at Whitmore... saldy I did not go all the way to Lake Mead. What an outstanding trip! O.C. Dale (a legend in the canyon) was on the trip and he told us great stories each night. It is the trip of a life time! Anyone that can float through the Grand Canyon should do it!
