Lavertezzo

Lavertezzo

Near Lavertezzo, in Val Verzasca, there's one of the most beautiful bridges in the world. A double-arc, stone masterpiece elegantly swings over the crystal blue water, not in a straight line, but at the end turning slightly to the right. Mountains around are also valuable hiking goals, like for example Pizzo Vogorno (in the background). Summer, 2007.

love this place

It's a very nice place to swim, but the water is COLD! I jumped off the bridge ;)

Last summer?

I was sitting at the exact same spot you took the picture from, also in 2007, august 11 or 12 or so to be exact! I come here every year and never get bored!
I will put the pic in my Tessin-page: i just love it! cheers Lodewijk

Re: Last summer?

Uh, we were in Lavertezzo August 6th, then travelled further, but had 5 consecutive days of bad weather. Also for me Ticino is one of the most beautiful places on this Earth.
