Great slab walk!
Pretty straightforward until the false summit. The walk down from the true summit was a knee-tester. Beautiful August day with great views of Tuolumne Meadows
After a quick hike out to Dog Lake we hit Lembert Dome on the way back with our 3 kids ages 7, 5, and 2 (youngest in the carrier). Better than expected panoramic views from the top. They loved it!

Lone hiker
I hit the dome before sunrise and I did a victory loop all around it. Nobody around. Where was everyone this year?

with Dog Dome
There were a dozen hikers on the Lembert summit. Got Dog Dome on the way back and I was alone.

After backpacking
What a striking dome that everyone sees from the road. Super easy hike, also did Dog Dome.

Lembert Dome
We did this as a family. It was short, fun, and had nice views.

South slopes
Very fun class 3 scramble up the south slopes of Lembert. From the parking lot, climbed the slabs and made my way to the right before it got steep. Found a path of cracks most of the way to the top. Would recommend a good pair of approach shoes for this one.

Early AM hike
Hiked in the dark in early morning with my wife and a friend. We got to witness and brilliant sunrise. Then we descended back to our campsite at Toulomne Meadows.

Hikers trail
Pretty straightforward, the last little bit looks a bit tougher than it is, it seemed most stopped at the false summit.

2 In 1 Day
Hiked with my uncle and younger brother after doing Mount Dana, meaning I was very tired at the time and this hike was really not terribly fun. Pretty much just follow the well-traveled trail, taking not a few confusing turns at oddly-signed junctions, until at last you come to the final summit dome, at which point the false summit was really aggravating for me. Follow the granite steeply up to the summit, we took in the good views, had a quick snack, then were on our merry way--in 5 minutes or less. The way down was easier, overall a nice little peak with good views from its summit--just not after a giant like Dana.

South Face
A week after surgery, but I just had to get out and feel some rock. Easy ascent up the south face in approach shoes and the summit to myself for nearly an hour. Beautiful!

Both were great climbs. Nearly fell off the crux of DNW Face.

Quickie leg stretch on way through parkHad some time so stopped to loop hike around the dome. No one else on the trail, only shared the summit with a marmot.
