This is a wonderful short hike in Tuolemne Meadows and rewards one with outstanding views on top. The same trailhead forks and leads to Dog Lake on the left, and Lembert Dome on the right.
Then again via Northwest Books Jul 14, 2011
This road-side dome was calling to me for the last 2 visits!
Rounded out a day climbing NW butt of Tenaya by climbing lembert via northwest books. Good route and beautiful summit!
Is this walk up route the easiest one in the park. Was perfect though for a warm up for young girls/non-hikers I was with. Will do the 2/3 next time.
I've trail run the hiking loop and snapped some photos from the top several times as a break from driving home from the Eastern Sierra.
Climbed with Ryan, then 6 1/2 yrs of age up the class 3 slabs on the South Face.
Great hike with Emilee
Probably in June or July 1999 with my wife from our camp in Touloumne Campground.
free-soloed some 5.3-5.5 slab all the way to the top, then I found a nice 5.8 crack near a notch on the north side.
Took the easy trail to the top a few hours after a massive thunderstorm. Saw someone running the trail multiple times.
Hiked to the top on my way through Yosemite to the East side.
Its the first thing I do when I get to the Meadows.
A short but nice hike
climbed along with Stately Pleasure Dome and Pywiak Dome with Don Palmer
Dayhiked the main trail en route to going to the Eastern Sierras...nice views from up top!
I assume the fixed piece is a green cam? I saw one there yesterday.
One of my first trad leads. Loved this peak. Looks small from Cathedral!
We forsaked our plans to climb Mt Dana to instead play tourists. Erin's and Jon's first time to Yosemite.
Quick hike in the rain.
