Thanks very much. It's true I did work at these, and I appreciate the recognition. My 35 pound pack included more than 4 pounds of camera gear, and a lot of time was spent scouting out the best compositions and then waiting for good light. Then, of course, I just got lucky with the weather on occasion.
I recently read a book titled The Tao of Photography: Seeing Beyond Seeing by Philippe L. Gross. Recommeded, for the photos if nothing else. It helped me keep my eyes open for compositions I might otherwise have missed. Regards, Nelson
You are totaly right. My best photo's are when I was sitting on a nice place, just looking around and after half an hour I take my camara and start shooting. I think thats why I have so much pictures of insects, just sit wait and watch. Thanks for the tip of the book, I'm sure I'm gonna read it.

Re: Really nice.........Thanks Bill. You were right: the place is amazing! We definitely want to return next year, and spend more than 5 days in the backcountry.

Pronouncing "Popo Agie..."I used to live in Lander, and rightly or wrongly we always pronounced it as one word, "Popozia," with the accent on the second "o."

Re: PronouncingThat's how I was told to pronouce it as well. I might have spelled it "popozha", but same idea.
Of course, one can guess what I was saying before learning this! Thanks for the info.
