Lesser Periwinkle

Lesser Periwinkle

Lesser Periwinkle (Vinca minor) is an evergreen, shade-loving ground cover plant from the Apocynaceae Family. Flowers appear from March to May and are pollinated by bees and butterflies. This is a poisonous plant, but very attractive and rather uncommon and thus it has been under protection. Spinners Nature Preserve - Czarnorzeki - May 5, 2008
