Liberty Cap southeast face from across Merced River

View of the southeast face of Liberty Cap rising up a full 1000 + feet from across the raucous whitewater of the Merced River at 6000 feet at 9:46am on May 3, 2014. 6:1 downsized version. Whitewater like snow, are difficult bright subjects for photography. Here pines shade much of the river with the sun above to the right, a perfect situation for no hot spots with shadowed whitewater displaying well.
