Life in The Crimson Courtyard

"Sailing on the wind
In a milk white gown.
Dropping circle stones on a sun dial;
Playing hide and seek
With the ghosts of dawn,
Waiting for a smile from a
Sun child."

(King Crimson - 1969)

North side of Courthouse Butte, looking 'cross the Supai sandstone bedrock of south Sedona from the eastern base of Cathedral Rock.

The "cooler" shades of green juniper, Pinyon pine, Agave and varied cactus
make for a sweet syrup for this impressive Eye Candy.

And, if you've ever visited Sedona this time of year, you know that
Autumn Colors don't always come in the form of deciduous trees.

(The true summit of Courthouse lies on its east side.)
