Light on the North-East Face

North East face of a steep wall which is part of the La Grande Motte massif is lightened by the sun. The actual summit of La Grande Motte (3656m) can be seen in the far upper right of the image. Picture taken from the Motte Glacier area at an altitude of about 2700m. Vanoise Groups, French Alps
