Enjoyed a sunny day and a solid hike.
I camped at Glacier Basin the night before and hiked at Bear Lake early in the morning before coming out here in the afternoon. Decent hike and an unreliable trail led me to go crosscountry a few times including ending up on the road for the last mile. Pretty sweet views at the top and relative solitude make this one a keeper in the rockies.

Lily Mountain
May 9 2018
After work I climbed Lily Mountain. SAR was on the mountain doing a rescue. I made it to the summit and enjoyed the views before heading back down.

After work I climbed Lily Mountain near Estes Park. It was a nice peak with nice views, but the last part of the route was icy.

Quick Drive from Boulder
My wife and I are in Boulder for a few days so we had to sneak up to Rocky Mountain. Great afternoon hike. The views of Longs and the other peaks are amazing. Easy two hour jaunt. Followed it up with a walk around Lily Lake.

Fun, easy hike
I did this as a fun day hike with some friends. My two-year-old was able to hike most of it, so that should tell you something. Great views from the top of RMNP.

Lily Mountain Trail
A nice climb with my wife. The sky was clear and the trail was well packed, which allowed us to leave snowshoes behind. We enjoyed good views from the summit.

Race to Beat out the Storm
Had to move pretty quick to beat out the rain and lightning. Made it to the top just as it got bad, went to the top to say we made it and left right away, lightning was pretty bad. Caught in heavy rain on way down. Fun little adventure.
