Bushwhacking fun  Sucess!

Fun scramble and climb followed by some *interesting* bushwhacking. Particularly liked the rappel through the forest. Another Cross-Country Karl special.

Fun adventure!  Sucess!

Great time out with Brian and Karl. Slimey rock and root-holds pulling out of the earth on the cruxy 3rd class gully to col, along with loose boulders and extra special chossi-ness on the seldome trodden ridge made this a nice little spicey adventure. As they say at the circus, "it's all part of the show".

Luckily each of us...  Sucess!

Luckily each of us brought a couple of pcs of gear or we wouldn't have climbed this rock. We set out to get a little elevation hike in with a planned rappell that we read about. When we got to the base of Little Cougar we just couldn't resist...a true Adventure Cimb. Fun stuff!
Thanks Brian for a great lead, and Ron for joining us.

Fun but longer than expected  Sucess!

With Karl and Ron. Fun approach and climbing around on Big Cougar. Really had fun in the sun on Little Cougar although it took longer than we expected. Interesting rap off the wet cliff as we could not see below to know if the ropes would reach. Cool climb in the Gorge I was unaware of. Thanks, Lacy for the info on this one. Ron's Costanza pose on the summit was priceless.
