Summit #3 on a sweet traverse from Flume to Garfield.

Route Climbed: Franconia Ridge Loop
Hiked the classic Little Haystack, Lincoln, Lafayette. The first time was cloudy and rainy. Did it a little under a year later and was graced with a perfect day with almost no crowds.

Pemi loop backpack
Did a Pemi Loop over 2.5 days with a couple of friends. Going counter clockwise, camped at Guyot and Garfield tent sites. Saw an awesome lightning over a town to the north storm from Garfield; got hailed on in a lightning storm on the way out on the last day. Had a bottle of Bowmore with us.

Ridge Trail
First summit on the ridge from the Falling Waters Trail. I was able to take a couple photos before the clouds rolled on.
Climbed Little Haystack as the first peak on a standard Franconia Ridge Traverse. Beautiful weather (hot in the valley, cooler on top!) and good company made for a great day.

Training hike
This was part of our Franconia Ridge hike in preparation for my son's big trip to the West Coast Trail. Can't remember much details, here is a link to the trail we did, except we did it in reverse http://www.dartmouth.edu/~doc/hiking/franconiaridge/ I'd do this hike again, we had one of the most beautiful views and scenery in New England!

Crossed this summit many times as part of the Old Bridle Path -> Falling Waters loop. Also once as part of a double traverse of the ridge.

Blue skies, cold and windy... a.k.a Perfect!
friday
Blue skies, windy, and cold. Perfect for the last official full day of winter.
This was the first mountain summit reached after a counter-clockwise hike of the ridge loop.
Had to use wind goggles and crampons for the ridge itself. A bit icy in some spots

Flume to Lafayette and back
Weather wasn't cooperating as we'd hoped, but still a fun 17 mile loop nonetheless. Would love to see it on a clear day.
