6/5/18 w/Ethan Meide and Ryan Stadheim
Approached from Snyder Basin, descended via Comeau Pass and Sperry Trail. One of my favorite days in the park yet!

West Face from Snyder Lake
With a small GMS group. The mountain itself was great, probably the cleanest rock I have ever seen in the park, a fantastic climb. 90% of the effort was getting there. The bushwhack around Upper Snyder lake and the wet loose climb up the Snyder Basin walls were not pleasant. Though the thick huge huckleberries almost made up for it. Next time I go via Comeau Pass.

West Face from Avalanche
With Brian on a beautiful fall day.
Climbed the headwall above Avalanche Lake and hiked to the little Matterhorn. Climbed the standard West Face Route. Used a short rope. Hiked out via Comeau Pass and Sperry Trail.
Climbed with the gang, Larry, Linda, Al. Great airy scramble

Little Matterhorn
Climbed with OTHG from Snyder Lakes. Ivan O'Neal and George Ostrom were really elated to reach this summit! George said he had been turned back by weather several times previously. We found the "best-ever" hucks around upper Snyder lake...huge!!
