This was the last thing I did in the summer of 2010. I hiked this slot canyon with NAU Outdoors as a trip leader for our Freshmen Wilderness Welcome program. Beautiful area and we didn't get to spend nearly as much time in the canyon as we would have liked.

Great Hike
I made a quick dash up the first mile or so up Little Wildhorse to the clearing. I fired off dozens of pics and had a short awsome hike. Over 100 degrees out, wife patiently waiting in the car so I hurried back. I'll go back and do the loop sometime.
I hiked this twice, once for a bachelor party and another time with my wife. Up Wildhorse down Bells.

Fun Canyon
A fun non-technical slot in an easy to reach place. Start early to avoid the crowds, but its a great way to experience narrow slot canyons without having to bring any gear or have any climbing knowledge. Well worth the trip!
After hearing all the hype about slot canyons I finally took a day off peakbagging to check some out. I figured these would be a good introduction since I had my brother and his girlfriend along who had never done any scrambling. We had a blast and spent about 3 hours hiking the loop. There was a lot of water in Little Wild Horse, forcing us to take off our shoes and wade several times (knee deep). It was incredibly cold, but ended up being our favorite part.

Worth the Drive
My 12 year old son Evan and I had a great time enjoying this slot canyon (in a circuit with its sister Bell Canyon). It took almost 2 hours of driving from Moab but was still worth it.

Fairly simple loop, I think there was one climbing part, but good payoff for the effort if you don't go on a crowded day.....

Little Wild Horse to Bell
A great intro to canyoneering. Little Wild Horse was amazing, yet technically easy. I look forward to returning to the area for some more technical endeavors.

niceNice, easy canyons with some minor scrambling. Little Wild Horse is especially nice for a non-tech canyon.
