Llama (Or Alpaca) for those colder nights

Llama (Or Alpaca) for those colder nights

Another Peruvian Llama. This one lives near the Chulpa tombs at Silustani, near Lake Titicaca.

Re: Great close-up!

Yep, everyone else had their cameras poised as they were sure I would be spat on!! However, I got away unscathed!!

Adorable but not a llama

Actually this is an Alpaca with its fuzzy face and short nose. If you google difference between alpaca and llama, it explains it and shows pictures. Llamas also have longer banana shaped ears.

Re: Adorable but not a llama

Thanks Vic, I went on the info supplied by a local as opposed to Google. I did eat some alpacas and they were really tasty!!
