Do you have any idea how many head of ELK are in these mountains? A GREAT habitat for elk! Amazing ... !!!

Thank you! There are hundreds of elk in these mountains. I see wildlife every time I go hiking in the Bear River Range.

Look hard enough

and you will probably find every color in the rainbow in this shot. I suppose it's an early autumn.

Thanks! This photo was taken during autumn on the last weekend of September. It's the best time to see all of the changing colors in Logan Canyon.

Thank you! The maple trees are why this area is so colorful. They turn bright red in autumn.
