For me, sometimes black and white does not work. This is NOT one of those times. What equipment did you use?

Just a Canon 30D with a 135mm lens, no other filters or anything. It was a color photo but I converted it to b&w in Photoshop. Thanks for the comment!

I did not notice originally that you are using a 30D. How do you like it? One of these days I'll dump my analog SLR...

The 30D is unbelievable. I would recommend it again and again. I honestly have no complaints. The ISO goes from 100 to 3200. The shutter speed goes from 30 sec. to 1/8000 sec. You can shoots burst at 5 shots/sec. for 30 shots. All the image filters (blue, green, sepia, etc.) are all built in to the software. Spot metering. The list goes on and on. I am very picky about camera specs and this is the first digital camera I have no complaints about. A truly superior product. Worth every penny. My advice...dump the analog now! You'll be blown away.
