Looking back at the "Ledge" trail section

Plain of Six Glaciers Hike Secured by a cable, this narrow section is called the ledge and has about a 20 foot drop. It can also be bypassed by using the horse path below. It is only wide enough for one person to cross at a time but on our return the party coming up violated trail etiquette by insisting on crossing after we had started to descend.
