Looking down at the Teton Glacier

Looking down at the Teton Glacier

This is from atop our second full (70M) pitch, looking back down onto the Teton Glacier. The thin section of bare ice between the crevassed sections was the crux of the approach. August 13, 2006.

Great perspective

I was lucky enough to stand on the Teton Glacier when climbing Mount Owen but this perspective is more amazing.

Re: Great perspective

Thanks. You should check out the perspective while climbing through that thing with approach shoes and aluminum crampons in the dark! Definitely a good way to get amped for a day of climbing.
