Looking down the Avalanch...
Looking down the Avalanch Gulch from just below the Red Banks on August 12, 2005. I was climbing solo, and the fellow in the red helmet was heading down at the same time I was. The other climbers (there are three near the center of the photo and one in the white helmet) were ascending. The glissade from here to Helen Lake took 18 minutes!
