Looking Down the Old Chute...

...on July 24th 2008. The fumaroles were exposed and pungent. We climbed up the hogsback before traversing over the fumarole on the lower left to reach the old chute. However, you an tell from the tracks that avoiding the hogsback and passing below the fumarole had been a popular route.
