Looking south from a short...

Looking south from a short spur on the Lend-a-Hand Trail toward Zealand Notch and Mount Carrigain. Unfortunately, this is about the only view you get on Mount Hale, unless you're quite tall and can see over the trees on the summit. August 24, 1998.
