Looking southeast from close...
Looking southeast from close to the summit of Bird Mountain. Not sure if the pinnacles in the foreground have a name -- I'll call them the Bird Pinnacles for now; anyone climbed them? They look to be welded pillars of volcanic rock (similar to those seen on Sawtooth Mountain to the north), located just northeast of the summit. The high point in the distance is Lemei Rock. -7/16/05
