Looking Up Knob Hill (5.7- 5.10a)

Looking Up Knob Hill (5.7- 5.10a)

This shot was taken while looking up the main Knob Hill face. The route on the left ("Just for Starters", per Rhyang) is mostly 5.7 with one or two 5.10a moves. The route on the right is 5.7 ("Sloth Wall", per Rhyang). To reach Anti-Ego Crack, scramble up around the right side of this formation. This is also where you would rappel down from the top of all three routes.

Just for Starters

.. is the name of the route I believe. Used to be 5.8 before a hold broke off, or so I have read.

The one on the right is Sloth Wall, my first 5.7 lead ever !

The descent for these routes is from a well-slung tree - single rope (60m) rappel to a 3rd class gully, easily downclimbed.
