Yes, a 3/4 inch rebar pole and 2 smaller tree branches.
My first 3/4 route and it was a bit nerve-racking. Bob Burds info from his trip report was very valuable for finding the route. On my way to the trailhead I saw a couple hundred marines at attention receiving instruction. On the way out I saw them running through bushes and diving for cover. Cool stuff.
A long 12hrs cruising around the area bagging a small handful of peaks. Trip Report.
I have climbed Lost Cannon Peak five times, each time taking a route up the middle of the west face of the summit block. On one occasion I climbed Wells Peak first, and hiked cross-country to approach Lost Cannon Peak from the west. More recently I combined Lost Cannon with a climb of Peak 10973.
