Lost in time...

these are the frozen sheeps on the summit of mount damavand.since the temperature on the summit is always below -10 these sheeps are well protected up there.no one knows since when and more importantley WHY these animals are on the summit. it lookes like they where trying to protect themselves from severe cold by getting into this hole in the rocks.

yeah it is sad. actualy the first time that i summited Damavand and saw them i felt so sorry that didn't want to take picture.they are not actualy sheep but more like small deers so i cant imagine why they came up all the way up to the summit since there is not any kind of plant from about 4500m and the warmest temperature on the summit would be -10. it feels more mysterious when you watch them in there after a tiring climb.
