Lower Maple Hollow trail

Initially it starts off as an old jeep road but will turn into a trail within the first mile and that trail leads up to the high country atop Suncrest and also connects to the upper Maple Hollow Trailhead. However, to get to the top of View Benchmark by a cross country route, look for a place to cross over to the hillside on the west of the road, first finding a way through the brushy creek area before connecting to the steep hillside beyond. From the lower Maple Hollow trailhead the elevation gain is over 1000 feet and close to a mile and a quarter.
