1500 ftdepending on how much of the apron you wanna count. If skier's accounts of Anderson Cutoff, some 5 miles to the East and of similar elevation / exposure, are to be trusted, the good snow doesn't last here too long. The wind is scouring it way to quickly.
A more protected (from the wind) gash of a gully crosses this slope just around the corner to the right. It looks like we haven't photographed it, but on the topo, it is here.

Re: Thanks for the link.It doesn't get as much snow as the Wasatch, and the snpw doesn't stay soft as long because of frequent stronger winds at Uinta's higher elevations. Most slopes with consistent snowpack are tucked out of the winds facing North. I have a few favs, PM if interested :) The biggest attraction for me there isn't the uninterrupted lines admittedly, it's the absolute novelty and the faster pace / no thunderstorms days compared to summertime.
Gotta say that the winter avys aren't common there ... the late-season glide cycle is another business alltogether!
