Simply, climbed up and went down. Nothing much interesting. Overall, nice views.
A part of our trip around Monte Rosa's plateau.
Climbed in perfect weather with Igi.
After climbing Lyskamm Il Naso early in the morning this was an easy summit but when you are there around you just have to do it.
I really loved the long ridge. We sat on the summit, had some chocolate and enjoyed the super view. Second mountain of the day...3 more to go!
We went up mostly to get pictures of Lyskham, very easy!
second peak of the day after starting at the Sella Hut, traversing east and doing Corno Nero. Finished up the day with Parrotspitxe before descending all the way down to the Mantova Hut.
Coming from the Parrotspitze. A great view of the Monte Rosa.
Climbed together with Ludwigshöhe and Signalkuppe during a 5-day tour thorugh the Monte Rosa massiv. Visit the photo gallery at: Photo Gallery
On the way from the Margherita Hut to the Gnifetti Hut on the Monte Rosa Traverse
subsidiary peak climbed during the monte rosa traverse. easy climbing
Climbed as part of the Frontier traverse
Beautiful tour to the Ludwigshöhe 4341m
photos are here: Ludwigshöhe 4341m
We climbed this summit after Corno Nero/Schwarzhorn.
Very easy climb from the east ridge.
Sunny and windy weather, but not cold.
Glacier conditions was wonderful: all the crevasses was still closed (many snow).
Next stop Parrotspitze
Calm sunny day, great views. Came up from Gniffetti Hut to the Lisjoch, nice easy walk up from there. Descended down the Monta Rosa Glacier back to Zermatt.
My fourth 4000m summit on that day. I did it with all my belongings in my back pack. Eastern Europe style :)
Ludwigshöhe was our fourth 4000 meter summit of the day. Got there from Schwarzhorn (Corno Nero).
Not much to say; easy walk, nice views..the weather was nice.
One of the easiest 4000m-peaks I guess. A snow walk. Nontheless, we were very happy at the summit, because we didn't expect the weather that day to give us the chance to climb.
Only a short walk (15 Minutes) from Lisjoch.
A long day starting in the Quintino Sella hut at 6AM and ending atop the Marguerita Hut in the summit of Signalkuppe at 3PM. Took us 2 hours from Sella hut to Felikjoch and then an addtional 3 hours to complete the whole Lyskamm traverse up to the Lisjoch. From there, 1 hour to the summit of Ludwighohe, another hour to the summit of Parrotspitze and additional 1.5 hour to the top of Signalkuppe. Then a good night sleep at 4560 meters in the Marguerita hut ;).
With Daniele traversing from Zumstein-Signal-Parrot.
