The only suggestion that I would add is that, as you are descending back to the PCT, it would be highly advisable to follow the boulder field all the way down to the PCT rather than exiting the gully through the woods back to the PCT. Otherwise, when you hit the PCT, you won't know if the trail junction is north or south of you unless you hit it just right. Instead, just to be sure, descend the boulder gully all the way to the PCT and turn right (north) on the trail. The trail junction will be in about 50 yards.
