This prominent, folded cliff band around 6,700 feet blocks easy access to the north face of Mad Wolf Mountain. There are several class III breaks in the cliffs, but extreme caution must be taken in route finding. One can also bypass this cliff band entirely by traversing below to the east (far left of this photo) where grassy ramps circumvent any dangerous terrain.
