Maiden Voyage
Liba and I made the classic link up of Maiden Voyage and the King and Me. We had the routes to ourselves on a perfect weather Monday in June. Maiden Voyage is outstanding in both rock quality and movement and shade for that matter. I can see why it is so popular on weekends. But I don’t understand why anyone would stand in line to climb anything at the Black, there are so many routes to pick, one would think the youngsters would be more adventurous.

fun climb, one 5.9 move, good pro, and amazing company
This was a really fun route. Climbed Casually off Route in the morning and came over here to do this in the afternoon.

great introduction
Maiden Voyage is one of the better intro climb in the black. Wonderful day, lead 2 pitches, party of 3.
2nd time: October 21, 2012 - fun climbing with Eric, we combined it into 5 pitches.
3rd time: with Iva - 2 czech chicks, tons of fun and the best time ever… 6/14/16
4th time: with Vit, another czech, 11/6/2016, I feel like an expert on this route.
5th time: with Ben, 7/17/17, under 2 hrs, did it in 3 pitches. Combined with King Me.
