Re: Impressive!It really was impressive and scary. A few minutes later there were some flames visible on the ridge but the fire never spread down the hillside.

Gee...Is this the fire that merged with the other one? I think the smoke drifted into Utah.

Re: Gee...I think that one was isolated to one of the Malibu canyons. Nevertheless, it destroyed several buildings.

Re: Amazing!Thanks. Yes, it was pretty bad last year, certainly one of the worst that I remember. Unfortunately, it will happen again this year, as it does every year. We only can hope that it won't be that bad.
