Lake George route
Went out to the cliffs above McCloud, then back the other way for views of the San Joaquin and Crystal Crag. Weekend crowds going to Crystal Lake were ridiculous.

Deer Lakes
Fun scramble up to the pass above the unnamed lakes before the drop down to Deer Lakes. Outstanding trail and scenery throughout this hike.

Great ridge run
Great ridge run. Started on the Mammoth Pass trail past Maclead Lake then up onto the Crest. Continued east passing Crystal Crag to the high point overlooking Duck Pass. I reversed trail and descended toward Crystal Lake before heading cross country back to the car at Horseshoe Lake.

In the Red
I hiked up from Lake George, investigated Crystal Crag, then continued up the crest trail to the red part, then headed back down. I was not sure where the high point was.
