Gorgeous photos. I am awed by your treatment of one of my favorite regions. I can't wait to see your other photos (and other mountain pages).

Jon

Y or Z soon? Or Ute Peak?

Jon, you must get your ass out there this weekend. Ahhh... shit I forgot about the 200 mile limit on the truck. The weather looks good and the leaves will still be around. I'm considering heading on back out for a Sun-Mon deal.

Jon, if i do anything it will be on Monday. Maybe something in the IPW like the Watanga/Adams/Twin Peaks loop route or I may drive back to Crusty Butt and try Gothic Mountain. Gothic looks a lot like Marcellina.

This is a wonderful page! Your picture color saturation is exceptional--is it digital or film? Good job!!!

Hey Jim, notice my truck in the sig photo?

Cows are very smart animals.

Yes, we took a serious ass wipping on W. Beckwith.

I can't believe you drank that muddy shit you pumped from that sess pool!

No, I didn't notice the truck until you mentioned it. I was too busy studying all of the knife ridges on that face we should try. There's a couple of good ones. :)

Agreed on the cows. Ear-tagged #264 was a fucking genius. I'd bet good money she's got the grand unified theory of physics trapped in that bovine brain but can only manage to get out pieces of it via her all-night-long mooing.

West Beckwith was a wakeup call. I want to go back. That's one hell of a knife ridge but fear was the greater enemy that day. There are proven methods for defeating both. Maybe some practice on Mt. Morrison is in order.

I only drank enough of that water to ensure that it was "decent." The stuff downstream was better. If I have my way, one of these days you'll be filtering raven urine in the Grand Canyon while daydreaming of the stagnant ponds at Ohio Pass.

A wonderful mountain taken at the best time of the year! The presentation lacks nothing that is important to the prospective visitor and offers quite a few captivating details. I'm running out of adjectives for your pictures.

Wow! This peak mirrors the Raggeds a few miles north almost perfectly. Well done, and I'm glad you promoted its impressive prominence as well.

176K acres! We feel lucky here in the East if we can land a wilderness of 10K acres!
