Margalla Range Islamabad

The Margalla Hills ,the foothills of the Himalayas, are a series of small elevation hills located north of Islamabad, Pakistan Islamabad is a nice destination for hiking and trekking.There are many trails available in the nearby forested hills that offer great views as well as wildlife. The best season for hiking is from February to April, when there is less rain and the weather is extremely pleasant. The Margalla Hills have been turned into a national park, and are home to abundant wildlife, including a variety of birds, wild boar and leopards.
