Marine Layer Below Buckner

We awoke at 4:30 to find Horseshoe Basin filled with a massive rotating eddie of the marine Layer dumping over Cascade Pass. It was an impressive sight, but unfortunately we were not willing to make the trecherous descent into Horseshoe Basin in a whiteout. We waited around until 7am to see if it would clear before settling for Sahale Mountain.
