I'm confused by your comment: "The true summit is separated from the true highpoint by approximately 1/4 mile and a small saddle." What is the difference between the true summit and the true highpoint? By my definition, the true highpoint is the summit. Edit: I think what you mean to say is that the true summit is separated by the summit plateau by 1/4 mile and a small saddle.
