Only noting this because a giant section of snow came off a rock face and left a giant avvy path and debris field below Mayflower. Who would have thought a bump called Mayflower Hill had it in her? Nice job, Mayflower! You are badass! We are upgrading you to "Mayflower Peak."

Up and over
The wife and I went up and over this to get to the west ridge of Pacific.
3x. Climbed over Mayflower Hill on my way to the West Ridge of Pacific. This is a good way to access the higher peaks as it avoids the willows in the basin. Have also done this in February of 2016 for a winter Pacific summit, and December of 2017 for a late season Crystal summit.

After Atlantic and Pacific
Atlantic West Ridge, traverse to Pacific, over Mayflower Hill on the way out. All from Mayflower Gulch. First dusting of snow of the season.

Headed here after bailing on Drift Peak due to avalanche concerns.
Great hike! Enjoyed it thoroughly...except for the howling winds on the ridge. Managed to hold onto everything, so I'd say it was a successful warm-up for future spring endeavours.

Made this hike/snowshoe on several occasions. Most recently with several SPers on a gorgeous sunny day.

NW Ridge
A short day, had to pass on Atlantic/Pacific, but the views from here are spectacular in the winter. Though we floundered in knee to waste deep snow down low, it was well worth the half day.

My first peak (small though it may be)
My friend Nate and I hiked up this hill and I remember looking at the west ridge of Atlantic and saying "that kind of looks like fun". I came back the next week and hiked up it. My efforts were mostly laughable, but Mayflower Hill holds a special place in my heart!
