Re: How/what was it?

Hey Radek. We tried the North Face of Kent, which is a beautiful face. Photos Here. The snow conditions were really awful with sugar over breakable crust over sugar. We slaved away but it just wouldn't go. One time I postholed up to my neck, and it wasn't even a tree well!!!

Oh well, still had a nice time out on a beautiful day.

Nice shots Martin & a good effort! Our outing did not work out as well as we hoped either. Oh well, there's the next weekend...

Don't despair guys

Nice getting out there and giving it a try Martin! Was it the right gully you intended?

Re: Don't despair guys

Thanks Haydar. We tried the central 1,500 foot couloir in the center of the close in photo on my shot that I linked to. It looked really astetic, would have been sweet in better snow conditions!
