Drove out to the start of the hike for Meade Peak after work, car camped, and hiked it the next day. The road up Georgetown Canyon was in pretty rough shape and very muddy and slick in sections. I did good to make it up as far as I did. For the hike I had about 1.5 miles of road left and 1.5 miles of cross country. Still, less than 2.5 hours RT.
With family who would join me during a reunion at Bear Lake.
Took a break from a family reunion at Bear Lake and hiked this one with my bro-in-law, Russ Gubler. Was on top at 7:05 PM.
Took a weekend to bag some ID prominence peaks.
Steep climb with Dean. Great day.
October 1994 - During one of my dad's hunting trips. We climbed up the west face above the mine and then followed the north ridge to the summit.
Dennis Poulin and I did the cross country route from the end of the road located in the right fork of Georgetown Canyon. 2500 feet in a bit over a mile
