Acclimatization  Sucess!

As a preparation for Ojos.
Camped at Arenal, got up late and reached the summit about 3 PM. Been pretty exhausted after few days of unsupported trek from Quemadito and still not well acclimatized.
Anyway... perfect weather, great views. Worth visiting to check out the route up OdS.
Summited with Radek (brade) and Darek.

Solo hike  Sucess!

Really enjoyed this climb. It was quite a long way from Arenales, but an easy climb to achieve in a day. I thought the views of the Puna were incredible and it is a good place to check out the route up Ojos!

Nice morning stroll  Sucess!

Climbed Medusa 2 days after Ojos. A nice easy 2 hour climb from El Arenal to the summit and as the weather was great there were fantastic views of Muerto, Ojos, Nacimiento and others. One of the easiest 6,000ers in the Andes from basecamp to summit, but one well worth doing.

¡¡¡Eso!!!  Sucess!

A nice short hike from El Arenal. What a pleasure to arrive in the mountains already acclimatized from Las Grutas / Paso San Francisco / etc. I especially enjoyed the view of Cerro Muerto's icy couloir...

Realized my 'bucket list' goal of 20,000 feet  Sucess!

Led by John Biggar, four of us summited this day during a narrow weather window. Foggy summit, no view, couldn't stay more than a minute, thunder and heavy snow by the time we got back to camp. But a satisfying accomplishment nevertheless.

Yep!  Sucess!

Got some AMS-induced nausea and dizziness on the way up which took a lot of the fun out of it, but otherwise an unreal view from the top.
