Your profile photoIt makes dizzy just looking at it. I would probably be on my belly crawling to the tip.
Great shot though.

Re: Your profile photoThanks! The clouds helped since I couldn't really tell how far down it was. I think doing the belly crawl would have made a good photo too.

I love this photoEvery time I've seen it as a thumbnail attached to your profile my first thought is that it's the head of a pronghorn...I'm not sure why, but that always pops in my head. Such a great photo of a neat spot.

Re: I love this photoThanks! The thumbnail does look like I could be a pronghorn ... or perhaps a gazelle :)

Aura of mystery ...What makes your photo (IMHO) special is the
"awesome aura of mystery" it projects to the
viewer.
For example, look at this photo.
It's not as well-captured as yours, but it's
a "STEP" in the right direction. :)

Re: Aura of mystery ...Aura of mystery... Yes, that's me :) This was a neat mountain. Another one that comes to mind is the summit of Half Dome which is photographed a lot.

Re: Aura of mystery ...Yes indeed. And, it matches your "Helen Keller"
quote. Personal question - did you feel any
sense of fear while sitting on the edge like
that? What exactly was going through your mind?
End of questions - hope you're doing okay &
thanks, Melinda.

Re: Aura of mystery ...Good question. I didn’t really notice how airy this rock was until I saw the photo. I'm probably a little more cautious about these things now. I’m doing much better and am hiking and climbing mountains.
