For the average person, a "hike" consists
of trudging up a developed trail, then
hanging out at the lodge afterwards.
Just curious.. What was going through your
mind when you were posing for this shot?

Re: Upland...Anyone can hike to this spot if they wanted to. It's located along the summit ridge of Cucamonga Peak not far off the main trail.

because of the "clouds" - and because it's YOU.
(or maybe the clouds might be called haze?)

Re: Upland...Yes, that's it. Other people also thought it was a good place to take a photo. There is usually a haze layer in the valley so I guess it looks more dramatic because of the clouds above it.
