Joel Mickelwait took this photo of me as I stepped onto the summit of Bonanza Peak on July 15, 2004. It marked my completion of the Washington county highpoints.

Re: It looks like...

Well Josh, you are right, it was a great trip. I was indeed celebrating because Bonanza was my final county highpoint in the state, and I was the second person to complete the Washington county highpoints, after John Roper. I'm guessing you could have found the energy to celebrate too under the circumstances.

Outstanding photo!

Dean, looks like an awesome display of jubilation! I had forgotten Dome Peak was so close to Bonanza. Even with the distant wildfire burning, you really captured the northern peaks! Great job! Please keep all the outstanding photos coming our way!!!

Re: Outstanding photo!

I fixed the profile to correct the misunderstanding. The photo was taken not by my great friend Dean, but by the climb leader on Bonanza, Joel Mickelwait. Dean's pix are indeed inspiring, but he can't take credit for this one. -Bob

Re: Great Shot!

I WAS pretty excited, to say the least. I guess nobody can accuse me of not wearing my emotions [in] my sleeves, as in this photo also!
