the new one is better!I have also learned a lot during my time at SP and I have better material now. So doing some re-scans would be useful for me also!

Re: the new one is better! Thanks Mathias. The old one was submitted at 1024 resolution, so it really got smashed by SP. The loss of sharpness is pretty dramatic. Plus I got rid of that unnatural blue cast in the snow. I think it will be worth doing this to some of my earlier submissions.

Re: the new one is better!Looks like a stroll to the top but undoubtedly isn't. Great picture and the improvement is stunning! I have downloaded the first 3000 pictures from SP (wrote a little program) and ended up with abot 20 useful picts. In the olden days people didn't know how to sharpen....
Very interesting. I would like to learn from you!

central peak not the summitwe did this peak years ago. We hiked into Lukla, paid a kid with a pair of tennis shoes to show us the route(not much help).. Lukla back to Lukla 3 and a half daze. Climbed the central peak and realized we were not done.. climbed the north as well.. very nice trip. Walked back to Kathmundu.(after Everest base camp)
