Michael ascends the Staircase

This is the start of the direct finish of the Notch couloir on Long's Peak and it is called the Staircase. Nothing too hard, but it gets interesting due to moisture and vegetation. The finish is basically at the rocks at the very top of the "V" in the upper part of the photo. 16 June 2007.
