North + Middle Chiwaukum
The forest scramble is brutal. Not only steep, many blow-downs.
Snow begins around 4500', but not good enough for snowshoes. Maybe 5000' or above, it's easier with snowshoes. Probably should have come here earlier in the season.
Once reach the ridge, it's fairly easy.
Going up and down North is easy, now you can go without snow. Easy rock scramble, maybe class 1.
From the saddle up to the next bump is snow. Need to be careful. We put on crampons here, and here only.
From there to Middle Chiwaukum is rock only. Easy scramble.
The road still has snow, and some pool of water in the middle. We walked 1.5~2 miles on the road until the TH.
